Overview
Purchase Code Autofill is a Chrome browser extension that auto-fills the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) Get Purchase Code form at myrra.rra.gov.rw. It was built as a personal passion project to streamline the tax form submission process.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension handles, how it is stored, and your rights as a user.
Information We Collect
This extension does not collect any personal information.
The extension allows users to voluntarily save the following data for the sole purpose of auto-filling a government tax form:
- Buyer name (company or personal name)
- Phone number linked to a TIN
- TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number)
- Seller names and their TINs
This data is entered manually by the user and is stored exclusively on the user's own device. It is never transmitted to the developer or any third party.
How Information Is Stored
All data is stored locally on your device using the Chrome browser's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This means:
- Data never leaves your device
- Data is not sent to any server
- Data is not accessible to the developer
- Data is not shared with any third party
You can delete all stored data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome, which permanently erases all locally stored data.
How Information Is Used
The sole purpose of storing your data is to auto-fill the RRA Get Purchase Code form on myrra.rra.gov.rw when you choose to use the extension. Your data is never used for any other purpose.
Information We Do Not Collect
This extension does not collect, store, transmit, or share:
- Browsing history
- Search queries
- Location data
- Financial account information
- Usage statistics or analytics
- Crash reports
- Any data from websites other than myrra.rra.gov.rw
Permissions
This extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

No other permissions are used. The extension does not access any other websites or browser data.
Third-Party Services
This extension does not use or integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or external APIs of any kind.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise share any user data with third parties because no user data is ever collected or transmitted.
Data Retention and Deletion
Your data remains on your device for as long as the extension is installed. To delete all data:
- Go to
chrome://extensions - Find Purchase Code Autofill
- Click Remove
This permanently deletes all locally stored data.
Alternatively, you can remove individual buyer or seller profiles from within the extension's Manage screen without uninstalling.
Children's Privacy
This extension is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
If this Privacy Policy is updated, the Last Updated date at the top of this document will be changed. Because this extension does not collect any data, material changes to this policy are unlikely.
Continued use of the extension after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
